Parati entered 38 crews at the Head of the Hooch on November 5th & 6th, the 2nd largest regatta in the United States. Racing conditions were pristine in Chattanooga, TN as 2,089 crews raced for medals in the 2 day event. The Parati Men’s Youth 4x earned an impressive silver medal in their field of 57, setting them up for a promising 2017 sprint season. Jack Schofield, Eric Hoster, Cooper Jones and Eddie Smith were also the fastest time from the Central region, beating out OKC Riversport, White Rock, and Texas Rowing Center handily. Eddie Smith and Drew Nichols placed 4th in the Men’s Youth 2-, a remarkable finish since they had only rowed together a few time in practice. The Women’s lightweight 4+, with Lindsey Brown, Allyson Deverse, Juliana Olson, Cassie Robinson, and coxswain Julia Hamburger placed 6th.
