Parati captured two Regional Championship titles at the Central Youth Championships in Oklahoma City on May 1 & 2. Rafa Carillo and Santiago Gomez won gold in the Men’s 2-, and Peyton Hulsewe and Taryn Kooyers took gold in the Women’s 2-. Seven additional crews medaled, giving Parati 8 invitations to row at the USRowing Youth National Regatta in Bradenton Florida in June, 2021.
Winning silver in the Women’s 4x was Ximena Chico, Peyton Hulsewe, Taryn Kooyers, & Payden Meyer. Parati also won silver in the Women’s 4- with Sofia Afzal, Fernanda Braniff, Paulina Braniff & Sofia Glaser. Peyton Blackwell-Frank and Daniela Carillo earned silver in the Women’s 2V 2x.
Parati’s bronze medalists include Ximena Chico & Payden Meyer in the Women’s 2x, Maria Bustamante & Alana Gonzalez in the Women’s U17 2x, Luc Gregoire & Will Lawrence in the Men’s 2-, and Drew Binkley, Rafa Carillo, Santi Gomez & Carson Jones in the Men’s 4-.
