Parati Competitive Rowing collected 10 medals at the Head of the Colorado regatta in Austin where 31 clubs raced the 4k course on October 25th. Parati medaled in 9 of the 11 events they entered to come away with 3 gold medals, 3 silvers, and 4 bronze.
Gold medalists include a repeat for Audrey Brown in the Women’s Youth Lightweight 1x , Audrey Brown and Amy Smith in the Women’s Youth 2x, and the Women’s Youth Novice 4x raced by Lindsey Brown, Grace Butero, Maddie Prator and Katie Dolan. Parati took silver with Amy Smith in the Women’s Youth 1x, Nate Eastwick in the Men’s Youth lightweight 1x, and the Men’s Youth Novice 4x raced by Andrew Renier, Eddie Smith, Reid Marlow and Cooper Jones. Bronze medals were awarded to Lindsey Brown in the Women’s Novice 1x, Andrew Renier in the Men’s Novice 1x, Jacob Castro in the Men’s Youth lightweight 1x, and Nate Eastwick and Jacob Castro in the Men’s Youth lightweight 2x.
Parati is gearing up for a very competitive Spring racing season with their sights set on Youth Nationals in Bradenton, Florida in June 2015.
