Four of Parati’s athletes traveled to Camden, New Jersey with Coach Mike to compete in US Rowing Club National Championships July 11-13th. Representing us were Kory Rogers and Landon Blackwell-Frank, each in the Men’s U17 1x, and together in the Men’s U17 2x. Peyton Hulsewe and Madison Zieschang each rowed in the Women’s U17 1x, and together in the Women’s U17 2x. Kory and Madison advanced to the semi finals in the 1x events, and both crews advanced to semis in the 2x. Kory Rogers earned a bronze medal in the U17 1x, impressive from a field of 71 competitors. All four rowers did a great job, and the upcoming season promises to be exciting for this young Parati team.
