Parati won 4 medals at SWEAT in Dallas, Texas on February 6th, including a record breaking 2k time in the Men’s Jr coxswain division. Jacob Castro posted an amazing 7:13, a full 39 seconds faster than 2nd place. Also winning gold was Allyson Deverse in Women’s Jr Lightweight. Emmi Dolan captured silver in the Women’s High School lightweight freshman event (and she isn only an 8th grader!), and Maddie Prator came away with a bronze in the Women’s Jr open weight event. SWEAT marks the beginning of the 2016 sprint season and Parati is poised for a great showing this spring.
