Parati faced the best crews in Texas to capture their 2nd consecutive State Team Championship title in Austin on April 22nd & 23rd, 2017. In addition to the team trophy Parati rowers earned State Championship titles in 11 individual events. Parati men swept the Varsity and JV sculling titles, and also won gold in the 2-, lightweight 4+ and the lightweight 8+. The women won gold in the JV 2x and lightweight 2x. Five silver and 4 bronze rounded out the Parati medal haul, making this regatta the most successful in Parati history. This team is poised to dominate the region at the US Rowing Central Youth Championships in OKC on May 6 & 7, expecting to qualify a record number of boats to US Rowing Youth Nationals in Bradenton, Florida in June.
