Parati entered 45 events at the Head of the Brazos in Waco, Texas on October 8th and came away with a remarkable 20 medals; 7 gold, 7 silver, and 6 bronze. Of note was Lindsey Brown winning gold in both the Women’s lightweight and open weight 1x; Lindsey is a lightweight rower and defeated the OKC gold meal winner handily to become the fastest 1x girl in our region. Parati swept the men’s 4x event winning gold, silver and bronze. Our men’s lightweight 8+ won silver in the open weight division, promising a fierce crew in the lightweight division at the Head of the Hooch in November. Of the 50 Parati rowers who raced in Waco, 38 medaled. And the season has just begun! Well done team.
