Parati faced off against 39 other teams at the Heart of Texas in Austin and came away with 18 medals – 6 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze. Most impressive was the boys’ gold medal winning performances in the Men’s lightweight 4+ and lightweight 8+. Parati took delivery on our first 8+ just one day before the regatta and with no practice or experience took gold in a field surprised by our inaugural appearance in sweeping events. The Central Region is now on notice – Parati has entered sweeping with a bang. Parati also dominated the Men’s lightweight 1x category winning gold, silver and bronze, and saw stellar performances in many other events. This team is ready.
